Our founding partners, Chad Ganske and Jim Sherwood, have over 30 years of combined experience developing opportunity / pipeline tools and market intelligence solutions for federal government contractors.

Chad has worked in the federal market intelligence space for over 15 years. He began his career as an engineer at Silicon Valley-based Oracle Corp. After leaving Oracle, Chad joined INPUT, which later became GovWin. There, he oversaw all engineering activities for their market intelligence data platform, as well as the integration of Federal Sources, Centurion and Onvia platforms. Chad has a comprehensive understanding of the federal market intelligence industry and the technology needed to deliver its most compelling product.

Jim has over 15 years of experience building and delivering market intelligence solutions for federal contractors. He joined INPUT in 2004, where he was responsible for managing and modernizing their federal market intelligence products. Jim later worked for Wolf Den Associates, where he managed a strategic-focused market intelligence consulting practice. Jim’s experience with both subscription products and consulting engagements has given him unique insights into the complex and dynamic needs that exist in this market.

Kevin is a Senior Vice President of Solution Architecture at GovCIO, where he develops solutions for strategic pursuits. Before GovCIO, Kevin was Vice President at Wolf Den Associates, a leading strategy and management consultancy for the Federal Contracting community. He began his career at Price Waterhouse, then Oracle, then SRA, where he assumed multiple technical leadership positions prior to shifting his career to capture strategy and solution architecture. His diverse experience across small and large organizations spanning information technology and consulting disciplines provides Federal Compass with a unique and broad perspective of the Federal marketplace.

Mr. Ingram is the founder and Chief Executive Officer at Ingram Group, a management consulting firm established in 2001. He currently sits on the Advisory Boards for the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), and Capital TechSearch. From 2010 through 2012, Mr. Ingram was Managing Director of Analytics at Centurion Research Solutions, a market intelligence provider later acquired by Deltek to join INPUT and Federal Sources Inc., to become what is known today as GovWin. Prior to Centurion, he was Partner at Inc. CEO Project from 2009 through 2011; Chairman of the Foundation Board for Suburban Hospital from 2005 through 2009; President US Sales and Consulting Services for PSI Net from 2000 through 2001; Chief Executive Officer at Life Cycle Technology from 1985 through 2000; Vice President at Planning Research Corporation (PRC) from 1982 through 1985; and Senior Manager at IBM from 1973 through 1982.

Mr. Ingram received his B.A. and M.A. in Physics and Mathematics from Pepperdine University and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas.

Mr. Ingram’s background provides Federal Compass with expertise in information technology, analytics, the Federal contracting market, and market intelligence. His understanding of the development, usability, and application of software products has been critical in the foundation of Federal Compass capabilities.
